The latest restaurants and hottest nightspots, all seem to be concentrated in one relatively small geographical area. From the media coverage you’d never know that black-owned food businesses in Detroit are powering the city’s revitalization.  This panel convenes some extraordinary owners of black-owned food businesses that are beloved by the local community.  They have been circulating resources, building wealth and opening doors to opportunities for other Detroiters.  Come hear them discuss how they took their food business to the next level – with intensity, efficiency and authenticity.
